St. Andrew Christmas Novena Prayer to Obtain Favors
Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in piercing cold. In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God! to hear my prayer and grant my desires, through the merits of Our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of His Blessed Mother. Amen.
(It is piously believed that whoever recites the above prayer fifteen times a day from the feast of St. Andrew (30th November) until Christmas will obtain what is asked.)

This Saturday and Sunday my parish had the opportunity to meet and hear convert, author, and inspirational speaker Christine Watkins. Her life story is truly fascinating and truly a miracle. If you have not read her book please get a copy because it contains not only her story but the stories of other people who have had their lives changed due to the intercession of Our Blessed Mother. If you are looking for a Christmas gift-look no further. Whoever receives it will not be able to put it down, even if they are a slow reader like me!
