This talk was given behind St. James Church. The area was completely filled with young and old. Our group was told by our guide the day before that the talk would be translated into English and then a radio would be needed for the other languages. I was sitting in the back with my recorder and could not believe what I was seeing. There was a group of Italians that made their way to the front of the area and began to point and yell at Ivanka. They were angry that she was not speaking in their native tongue! She held her composure but did stop for a moment. Since when do these people from Italy think that they own Medjugorje? They really need to take a good look in the mirror and really ask themselves why they are going there in the first place. After her talk she left and some Italian priest grabbed the microphone and started yelling and running up and down the stairs leading the group in some sort of chant. Needless to say. . .not very impressive nor Christian at all. Some pilgrims need to really examine why they are making the trip to this Holy place.
